We are a small boutique practice that focuses on family dentistry treating whole families from toddlers to great grandparents. We provide gentle and honest care to all our patients and offer sedation dentistry for our highly dental-phobic patients. Our ultimate dedication is to enrich the lives of our patients and our surrounding community to let them know we care about their wellbeing. Whether you’re looking for a cosmetic treatment, preventive care, or need something restorative, we want to give you the smile you deserve.

Get To Know Dr. Jenny

Dr. Jenny Liang was born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida. She grew up working at her parent's Chinese restaurant from the age of 10 but discovered her passion for dentistry while shadowing her family dentist in high school. Dr. Jenny went on to pursue her dream of creating beautiful smiles with a BS in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Florida. While completing her undergraduate degree, she volunteered as a dental assistant at Shands Hospital assisting dental students at the UF College of Dentistry.

Dr. Jenny graduated early from the University of Florida and relocated to Annapolis, MD to work as an Orthodontic Assistant. She was selected to attend the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine D2008 class located in Boston, MA.

After graduating from Tufts Dental, Dr. Jenny was commissioned as a Dental Officer for the US Navy. While stationed with the 1st Dental Battalion at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. She deployed to Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan with the 1st Medical Battalion for 7 months and provided combat dental services to NATO forces after her residency. Upon returning, Dr. Jenny was promoted to Clinic Director at Edson Range Dental Clinic in Camp Pendleton where she fulfilled her final two years of military commitment. Additionally, Dr. Jenny served four years of active duty service with the US Navy and separated from the Navy in May 2012 to pursue a career in private practice.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Jenny enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, camping, traveling, cooking, and enjoying all that Southern California has to offer. She is also an avid surfer, snowboarder, yoga enthusiast, and dedicated mother of two children.

Catherine became part of Dr. Jenny’s team in 2017, but has been part of the Bear Coast Dentistry family long before then. She has 2 adult children, a son and a daughter, and enjoys playing pickle!

We’ll answer any insurance-related or financing questions you may have to make your appointment as seamless as possible.After a thorough cleaning by one of our hygienists, you’ll meet with Dr. Jenny and receive a comprehensive oral exam, complete with any necessary x-rays. We spend the extra time to address your concerns and discuss the state of your dental health with you before outlining a unique treatment plan tailored to your needs. Before leaving, we can also schedule any future visits and sign you up for our in-house membership plan.

Our office is equipped with the latest dental technology because we believe our patients deserve the best care possible. Modern dental tools and techniques ensure that your visit is efficient, your diagnosis and treatment are accurate, and your overall experience is comfortable. 

In order to reduce pain, improve safety, and increase accuracy, we use the innovative Biolase Laser that can perform a variety of minimally invasive periodontal procedures in a quick, gentle, and safe manner.

We are passionate about community involvement which is why we have partnered with a variety of organizations including the American Dental Association - Give Kids a Smile and proud sponsors for Mission Viejo Little League Dodgers team and Positive Vibe Warrior Golf Classic.

Dr. Jenny is also a February National Children’s Dental Health Month presenter at local preschools and a Team Smile volunteer.
